About Us at Whitehedge Farm

Owner, Breeding and Sales Manager and head trainer:  Anne Hedge

Anne HedgeAnne has been involved with showing, teaching and training hunters and jumpers for over 20 years in the hunter/jumper industry. She has primarily been involved with private training and sales of show hunters and jumpers, but has a great love of starting young horses udersaddle and also teaching children and adults great basics with a solid foundation.
Anne has a special interest in the selection and breeding of national quality hunters.  Dozens of horses stemming from the WHF breeding and sales program have gone on to championships in all hunter divisions at all major shows in the US.  Anne was also responsible for the selection and importation of the important Anne HedgeHanvoerian hunter stallion, Elite Stallion Cabalito, who after she managed to a very successful hunter and jumper career is now making a huge impact thru his offspring on the quality of rideable, beautiful moving hunters across the country.

Anne trained and shown with Nancy Kohler, Allana Featherstone, Kevin Cleveland, and Shane George.  She  has participated and ridden in clinics with the "greats" Anne Kursinski and George Morris and Linda Allen. She has also traveled to Germany for several educational and buying trips, and is a voracious student of German bloodlines. Anne also keeps up to date on various equine breeding techniques and methods, and has participated in the Colorado State Equine Reproduction training program.

And we can't forget! Trainers in Training: (Anne's Children)

Devon Devon White age 8

Broodmare manager of the future!
Devon loves to work with the mares and foals each year, and helps twice a day to bring them in ad out of the barn! He also has a special interest in catching loose chickens and training his goats to do tricks.
Macy Macy White age 7

The littlest trainer extraordinaire!
Macy has been riding since she was 2 on a daily basis! She is definitely horse crazy, and is an extraordinarily hard worker. She helps feed and care for all the ponies on the farm, and usually rides at least 2 ponies a day.  Our Welsh stallion, Telynau Falcon, is her special friend, and they share a bond that amazes me everyday.
